For the last 20 years Jo Habib has been involved
in the provision of information and advice about charitable
trusts and foundations. When working as a funding advisor
she saw the potential for using technology to help people
identify appropriate funders and in 1991 established FunderFinder,
a small national charity based in Leeds that produces software
for grant-seekers. FunderFinder’s products include Apply
Yourselves and Budget Yourselves, which are
free and which help voluntary and community groups write effective
                    funding applications and budgets.

at new technology and social inclusion, and has served on
a number of grant-making bodies, including the National Lottery
Charities Board’s regional committee and the board of
                    Yorkshire Arts.
